  Music at Emmanuel
The Emmanuel music program has two main choirs - adult
choir and youth choir - which occasionally branch into several other formations such as chamber choir and junior choir. In addition, there are two main event-oriented ensembles, the bell choir and the youth instrumental ensemble.
All musical groups are non-audition, except for the chamber choir. The adult choir usually has about 30 members, with 20 attending regularly. The youth choir membership is usually 12-15 singers.

Future Plans
The reportoire of the adult choir is varied, with its foundation in classical sacred music from all periods, with a special nod to the Renaissance period. Hymns are carefully chosen to fit the lectionary, and the congregation sings over 250 hymns during the church year. The choir also offers, as anthems, early American and traditional music of various sorts, as well as original music by area composers and choir members. The choral music is usually Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass, although occasional treble choir and split part compositions are also offered. The music program at Emmanuel also includes offerings of special music events, such as choral evensong, concerts and musical dramas.
