The Adult Forum, an opportunity for adults to learn more about the Bible, current events, theology and more at the 10:00 hour on Sunday mornings. The Adult Forum meets in the Parish Hall. Weavings is a wonderful bible study offered once a year on Wednesday afternoons, led by The Rev. Jane Sigloh, author of Like Trees, Walking. Jane leads us as we weave Biblical texts into our every day lives. Thursday Night Bible Study - On the second and fourth Thursday nights of the month, The Rev. Sarah Gaventa facilitates a bible study examining lectionary texts in depth. Members are taught how to use many exegetical resources such as Bible dictionaries, commentaries, Gospel parallels, BibleWorks computer program and concordances. Special educational events are planned during Advent and Lent. These are usually accompanied by Parish suppers. Inquirers classes meet once or twice a year, for three sessions. These classes are designed to introduce adults to the Bible, Church History and the Episcopal Church. They are perfect for people coming to the Episcopal Church from another denomination, Episcopalians wanting to renew their knowledge and those preparing for Confirmation. A Book Club meets monthly in the Marston-LaRue house to discuss a wide range of books—from novels to non-fiction. Media Center/Library - The Church Library contains many reference books, Christian fiction and non fiction, CDs and DVDs that may be of interest to you.
