Biography of The Rev. Sarah Kinney Gaventa

The Rev. Sarah Kinney Gaventa is a graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary and did her undergraduate work at the University of Richmond, where she studied Political Science. Her responsibilities at Emmanuel Episcopal Church include Christian Education, Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry, and Newcomer Ministry. Sarah is also a contributing editor of Fidelia's Sisters, an online magazine of the Young Clergy Woman Project. She is married to Matthew Gaventa, a Presbyterian, and is the proud owner of Henry, their dog. Henry has not yet decided on his religious affiliation.
